Lauren Sánchez Bezos began envisioning her wedding dress more than eighteen months ago during an intimate dinner in New York with designer Domenico Dolce. The collaboration culminated in a custom Dolce & Gabbana gown featuring a high-necked silhouette adorned with 180 silk chiffon-covered priest buttons, paired with a delicate tulle-and-lace veil—an homage to the iconic look worn by Sophia Loren in the 1958 film HOUSEBOAT.
“What started as a vision for a simple, modern, and sexy dress evolved into something deeply personal—something that captures a moment and reflects who I am today,” said Sánchez Bezos. “It’s a departure from what people might expect, but it feels authentically me.”
