The LACMA gala is a big early event in the awards season poledance and Gucci’s always de rigueur, which means the competition for most eye-popping lewk is rather high. We’re really only so-so on the gown itself. The fish design isn’t as clear as it could be and the gown looks heavily weighed-down, like it needed just a bit more structure to it.

Then again, Miss Kiki came with her own structure to support. Yes, that hair is a LOT, and yes, from the back it sort of looks like a handbag. But this is a time and place where a ladystar is encouraged to really go for it and this gal absolutely answered the call. The gown is pretty enough, but it’s the hair that turned this into an unforgettable look.
