We give Miss Helena a lot of credit for letting her personal style evolve just a bit toward something fresher and more modern, but we don’t want the poor dear to catch her death of cold.
All of this is HBC cute and HBC specific without looking stale. But Miss Woman looks like she’s freezing in this flimsy frock. A pair of black tights would’ve not only helped her out, but they might have completed the look a bit better. Those boots are so heavy they need something to visually bridge the gap between flimsy hem and clodhopper soles.
And to be blunt, we think the coat looks much better belted and closed.
