Rebel Wilson, Scarlett Johansson and Thomasin McKenzie at the “Jojo Rabbit” Los Angeles Premiere

Posted on October 16, 2019

We always place a lot of importance on co-stars coordinating their looks, but in truth, it almost always happens by chance – unless you’re talking about a Marvel, Disney or Star Wars movie (but we repeat ourselves). To us, this trio of gals represent the perfect balance of coordination. All of their colors go well together – you could put together an outfit using all three – but each of them in SUPER-distinct styles that ensure their individuality. Like we said, probably happenstance, but it always looks so much better this way, rather than a bunch of people who look like they ran into each other on their way to different events.

Rebel Wilson in Badgley Mischka

This has been her go-to style and color for a really long time. While we would hope she breaks out of this repetition soon (there are far more options than this exact dress for her out there), we can’t deny the appeal for her. Even with the weird embellishment situation, it looks great on her.

Scarlett Johansson in Miu Miu

Call us crazy, but we think this is really fun. It looks great on her. Our usual critique for her still applies: her head styling is always either too much in combination with, or doesn’t have anything to do with whatever it is she’s wearing. The hair’s too limp and the face is way too done-up. About half the amount of slap and twice the amount of hair product, girl. This outfit begs for big, obnoxious earrings.

Thomasin McKenzie in Jason Wu

A really tough color that happens to look really great on her. The dress is more or less standard frilly romance, but she looks gorgeous in it. She can handle the pink makeup and it goes well with the dress, but we think the severe hair really plays against the youthful romance of the rest of it.
