We held onto this set of shots through yesterday, struggling with what to say about Miss Kristen’s latest Chanel modeling job, but our bitchery was blocked. We could only manage “We hate this.”
It’s a blanket with a collar and some buttons added. Also a lining, which is a mercy, because we can’t imagine what a pain in the ass it is to haul that much yardage of tweed around. It just looks so heavy and unwieldy. And her styling, which is usually so on point, is doing nothing to help the situation. Her hair and makeup look uncharacteristically terrible and the jewelry situation is dire. Granted, we don’t think there’s a good way to style a blanket, so we’ll forgive a lot on that front. The dress is just plain bad, to our eyes.
