Miss Felicity, having shared many a red carpet with focus-pulling Leanin’ Eddie, might have thought she finally picked the gown that will keep her from fading into the background while standing next to her spotlight grabbing costar. Oh, girlfriend. You really should have known better.
Leanin’ Eddie always wins the spotlight game.
Having said that, it’s a perfectly lovely gown, although the styling isn’t quite up to it. The hair is just too casually messy and the makeup is too clean. And she definitely could have used more statement pieces of jewelry. As for Mr.Velvet over here, we absolutely love the idea of a full velvet suit on the red carpet but we also absolutely hate the idea of tone-on-tone suiting where the shirt, tie, and suit are all the same color. And it certainly doesn’t help that the color in question is kind of hideous. Even so, as much as we dislike the particulars of his outfit, we once again have to salute Leanin’ Eddie (who really doesn’t lean that much anymore, to which we credit our constant bitching about it) for out shining his female car star on the red carpet once again. Attaboy.
Looks kinda goofy, if you ask us.
