The grown-up level. Kittens, we gasped.

We should admit, however, that we struggled a bit with that mint green color. And to be fair, we lingered on several elements of the design — especially the netting and the unusual shape of the sleeves. But we feel like she has been evolving her princess style of late, and this represents sort of the end result. This feels sophisticated and mature but still very much an ingenue’s gown. The elegant hair and stunning earrings certainly help. It’s almost like this is her coming out (in the debutante sense not the LGBTQ sense); as if she’s gone from the young naive Disney version of princessness to a grownup who isn’t quite a queen yet. It helps tremendously the design is not just eye catching but unusual, giving her an edge she doesn’t normally display when she’s deep in the weeds of Disney promotional work.
