The stars came out in support of Reese and Jen’s somewhat poorly reviewed TV show, darlings! We’ll try to be kind.
Emmy Rossum in Altuzarra
We suppose if those weird-ass hems on her pants weren’t happening, the whole thing would look like a very business-like Mary Kay rep at a conference. But you can’t just slap some goofy design element on another wise basic-as-hell suit and call it red carpet ready. This just looks weirdly unbalanced. And a bit of a trip-and-fall hazard.
Jennifer Aniston in James Galanos
Good lord, she’s dull.
Sorry! Sorry. We know we’re supposed to temper our critiques or whatever. And we think she’s a fun actress with a likeable personality. We’ve always dug the Aniston, in fact. But GOOD LORD, SHE’S DULL – in her fashion choices.
Mindy Kaling in Maticevski
Just to prove we’re not biased against simple black dresses on the red carpet: this is super-cute. In fact, it’s one of the cutest things we’ve seen her wear in a while. The shape is great, the purse makes a great accent, and the thicker straps of those sandals make a tired shoe choice feel just right for this look.
Naomi Watts in Miu Miu
They canceled her Game of Thrones show before it even got started. The dress looks like a pretty, dainty bout of mild depression. We’ll leave her to it. Better luck next time, girl.
Reese Witherspoon in Celine
Perfect shape, love the gold accent. We wish the hem went to the floor. And maybe we’re just being harsh and nitpicky, but we don’t think the makeup or hairstyle really suit her all that well.
