2019 BAFTA Britannia Awards: Phoebe Waller-Bridge in Giorgio Armani: IN or OUT?

Having managed to turn a fairly basic keyhole jumpsuit into an iconic and highly sought item this year with the second season of Fleabag, Miss Phoebe decides to switch things up just a weensy bit:

And we need to know: Is this working for her? It’s not a jumpsuit, but it’s still working in that same vein, producing the same effect. She’s clearly built for these kinds of sleek pants looks and we do really love the top on her. But we’re not convinced the waistband is really working for her and the more we look at the pants, the more the shape of them seems a little off to us. Shouldn’t they taper a bit more? Or even flare a bit more? They almost come off (waistband aside) like men’s dress pants, all billowy and shapeless on her. Maybe we’re making too much of them or maybe you think they work just fine. You tell us.
