Kittens, it’s been far too long since we subjected a frock to an “IN or OUT?” vote. That fact doesn’t actually have anything to do with this post or frock, however. Why, you ask? Because Iris Van Herpen is a bona fide fashion artist above such considerations as to whether something falls on the right part of the style scale. Also because this is just too stunning and too ridiculously on-point for us to do anything but love it:
Rock that Sexy Queer Butterfly Fairy Princess shit, girl. We get that this whole design may be a bit too much for some to accept, but she’s an international star and model at the premiere of her gritty fairy fantasy series. She could not be more right for this. And we could not be more hungry for some challenging, eye-popping, capital-F FASHION. It’s been a bland-ass summer on the celebrity style front and this is just the shot of adrenaline to the chest that we needed.
Unforch, the buzz on this one is not great.
