Even though this look represents a lot of the same sorts of style choices we’ve been yelling at her not to make, we can’t really claim that this looks terrible on her. In fact, given the ’80s Las Vegas setting of GLOW, it makes a certain sort of promotional sense.
Mind you, we’re not gonna sit here and claim it’s chic. No, it’s still kind of tacky. But the hair and makeup really work with it and we don’t think there’s anything wrong with a star on a promo tour putting impact over concerns of elegance or stylishness. We’ll let you have this glitzy frock, Miss Alison. Just don’t make a habit of it.
