Cathy, Megs and Pippa had themselves an outing, darlings! Dresses and skirts were involved! EXPENSIVE ones! No one threatened the sanctity of the situation by wearing jeans, thank Jesus! You’re not even reading this. You zoomed right to the dresses and honestly, we can’t blame you.
They all look kind of great, we have to say. Maybe we’re being kind because it’s Saturday or because the Duchesses have had a rough year, relatively speaking (and no pun intended), but whatevs. We like the lewks. Pippa’s floral is pretty, but the least interesting of the three. Kate’s dress is pretty gorgeous – so much so that we almost feel she’s wasting it here. That row of buttons screams for a photo opportunity or more high-profile public appearance. Doesn’t really matter, though. She recycles her dresses constantly. Megs is doing her Carolyn Bessette thing, which is fine. Not our fave direction for her to go, but girlfriend is committed to it. The skirt is gorgeous. We’re not a hundred percent convinced it pairs well with a tucked-in oxford, but the Duchess has always had her own ideas about waists and proportions.
