Why Miss Lizzie. Look at you, all bold, colorful and shimmery in the daylight.
This strikes us as a perfect example of why most of us shouldn’t try to mimic runway styling. Our first impulse was to declare that the sweater really doesn’t go with the skirt, but then we saw that’s exactly how it walked the runway (see below). Even in the hands of an experienced model, the proportions look a little tough to pull off. On Elizabeth, they’re kind of awful. LOVE that skirt, but on her, it doesn’t need a tucked-in ribbed sweater to finish the look. It needs an untucked t-shirt and a lightweight blazer, we’d say.
