It occurs to us that Miss Regina has inadvertently offered up a perfect visual primer on good red carpet practices for those who might need a little help figuring things out. All you budding fashionista starlets and attention-seeking starlets and anti-fashion starlets need to pay attention and note what your betters are doing.

In a nutshell: Bold color, beautiful fit, flattering silhouette, and simple, pretty details. Get your hair done right and your face beat to the dress’s level.  This is not to suggest that every good red carpet look has these qualities. The existence of Pope Tilda alone puts the lie to that idea. But for the … say, Chloe Grace’s of the red carpet world; those starlets or ladystars who can’t seem to quite pull all the details together in their fashion efforts, it would behoove them to spend a semester or two putting this kind of standard, glamorous and highly flattering kind of red carpet practice into work. Figure out what works for you by starting with the universally workable and then fooling around with the details once you’ve mastered the basics. It’s just good common red carpet sense, really.
