Shall we start the day off with a little bit of Michael B., looking foine?
Yes. Let’s.
This does not, however, mean that we will be skipping our duties in the bitchery arena. Head-to-toe beige is… well… it’s a choice is what it is. And while it would never, ever be our choice nor our recommendation for anyone else, we don’t think the idea is totally absurd in Michael’s case because he’s close to pulling it off. But a couple of these items really bug and we can’t get past them. The coat is gorgeous (no surprise for Burberry), but those big honkin’ zippers are awful and distracting. We find ourselves returning to the shoes, partly because we love them and partly because looking at that hideous shirt collar is distressing. You do this kind of aggressively neutral thing with your ensemble only if every piece is perfect and the look is in harmony. He’s close, but that shirt is awful and that coat has some unfortunate aspects to it.
Yes, we know. You read none of that.
