Cait, Cait, Cait. Why must you torture us so? Why go for quirky when gorgeous is sitting right there?
Oh, well. May as well put on our helmets and judging HAZMAT suits and get down to it.
We’re sorry, but we have a few things to address before we get to the fashion. Miss Caitriona, you’ve got a head of gorgeously thick hair and bone structure to beat the gods. Why on earth are you finding it so hard to secure a decent haircut, lady? And while we realize the trend for contouring has cooled, your paintjob here is giving you moonface: a flat, round face with two eyes and a mouth. It could be the lighting, but that’s what stage makeup is for.
Still, we can’t avoid how the dress is factoring in here. That’s a fairly harsh-looking print rendered in a mumsy shape with some really oddly distracting and incongruous bling slapped onto it.
Ohhhhh, now we get it. It’s an Instagram dress. Well, Miss Cait. There was your mistake. What looks good on the ‘gram is almost certainly going to need some adjusting for a stage flooded with light. The harshness factor of the dress got really bumped up under less optimal lighting conditions.
