Starting from the top of the ensemble and moving down, there’s about 1o or 11 inches of “Chic” before it all abruptly turns toward “Clown” and then winds up on “Crazy Person.” We’ll tell you what: this may have been a disappointing-af moment of fashion but it sure did take us on an emotional and aesthetic journey.
A brisk and vigorous facial-slapping session is called for with the person who insisted on that hosiery/shoe combo, dear. BRISK and VIGOROUS.
