Her Excellency Pope Tilda may whatever she likes, of course. And most of the time, she finds a way to make a piece or a look uniquely her own. And most of those times, that’s considered a good thing.
But we’re struggling a bit here. The coat’s clearly got a high difficulty setting, but we don’t think it’s outside her skill range. The boots are an interesting and unexpected choice, but we’re not entirely convinced they work with the coat. One thing’s for damn sure: that hat was a totally out-of-left-field choice. From a style perspective, it clashes with the rest of the look. From a proportions perspective, when taken with the enlarged silhouette of that coat as well as the heavy footwear, it makes her head look miniscule. All we can see are ears and boots. That kind of look only works for elves.
