Miss Danai chose Ralph & Russo for both the pre-SAG Awards party and the main event, but she managed to go in two very different style directions.

Cut to the head of the line, Miss Thing! The dance floor is OPEN.
Having said that, our good feelings about this look come down to her styling and her absolute suitability to the style. By all means, get your Studio 54 on, Danai. But the fit here isn’t great and the shape of that skirt is kind of awful. A one-shoulder looks is quintessentially disco, but adding a puffy sleeve and a choker complicated the design without adding any real benefit.

SERVING ELEGANZA.
The dress is fun and takes a great picture, but we’d never call it fashion-forward. She brings a modernity to it with her styling, but we’re not sure it works with the dress. Don’t get us wrong: we LOVE her hair, makeup and earrings. But it almost feels like they belong with a different outfit. Doesn’t a dress like this call for a little more exuberance in the styling?
