We might have normally gone straight to the Gagas, Lupitas or Chalamets for our first post-awards show Monday morning post, but we’re kind of/sort of happy about her look. As anyone who’s heard us bitch about it before, she has a tendency to default to sheath or column gowns with minimal details and usually in blue. Tonight, she went for a little drama glama:
No, we don’t love it. BUT: we DO like it for having some personality and shape to it rather than coming across as featureless as possible. The style of the dress isn’t exactly fresh, which means it needed something a little extra in the styling to give it some youth. Unforch, that’s not the direction her team went in. The jewelry is gorgeous, but both the hair and makeup needed a little more drama to them.
