Yes, we just dinged Julia Roberts for trying to work a gown/pant combo but we maintain first that Miss Gemma is otherworldly and on an Audrey level in terms of her fashion-werqing abilities; second that this gown/pant combo has way more of a high fashion, haute couture, editorial sort of feel than Julia’s sad pantyhose-colored thing. Third, that Miss Gemma is insanely fierce. Fourth, that we don’t care if three is just a rewording of one. Bottom line:

This is not to be argued with, darlings. She’s gorgeous, the color looks stunning on her. The sweep and drama of the gown play to her strengths and the slightly goofy parts aren’t really an issue. One crit?
