Rami’s been less about wearing edgy menswear designs during awards season (something he was much more prone to do while promoting Bohemian Rhapsody) and more about wearing very traditional designs in non-traditional colors. It’s a less interesting, less adventurous approach and, given how bold the Chalamets and Bosemans are being right now, we have to admit it’s a bit of a disappointment.
He went from 21stC menswear to Vegas Doo-Wop Act.
To be fair, the idea of Rami doing a ’50s movie and working this kind of period-inspired style the whole time suddenly sounds very appealing, not least because he does look pretty great in this. But give us those tight little Dior Hommes jawns you were pulling out last year, mister. Please step your game up. You’re being outdone on the regular.
