We’re throwing this one out to y’all just because we like torturing you, darlings. And also, it makes a lovely (or not) distraction from your day for the next few minutes. Consider the following extremely minimalist look:

Is this working or not? We’ve always felt minimal, basic looks were her forte, so long as you kept everything fairly impeccable and glamorous. And if you scroll down to look at the style credits, we’d argue you’re looking at a very well-curated look, with nothing but stylishly fabulous high-end pieces. It’s all good on paper, is what we’re saying. But is it really working as a red carpet look for her or do these pieces beg for someone with quite a bit more personality? We feel like we could name half-a-dozen celebrity women who could make these pieces sing. Is she one of them? Put another way:
