Maybe we’re just cranky, but this just looks like slightly sophisticated toddler clothes to us. Pre-schooler, maybe. She needs white lace tights and Mary Janes to really give it that Lolita feel. Maybe she could carry around a giant lollipop – or better yet, a purse shaped like a lollipop.
Like we said, we’re cranky. It’s the post-awards season burnout. By wine o’clock, we’ll be fine.
But are we wrong? What’s the line that separates dressing youthfully and dressing too young?
