Nicole Kidman in Prada at Agon Channel Launch Party

This lady’s hair game has gone completely wackadoo. We wonder if all her time on country music award red carpets has had some sort of effect on her, because that is some honky-tonk-looking, halfway-to-Jesus hair she’s sporting.

The Becky Home-Ecy dress isn’t helping either. The runway version is slightly less busy and patchwork, but neither version suits her particularly well. That bright purple waistband and center panel are hellaciously unflattering on her. And the long sleeves combined with the high collar and big hair give her a distinctively schoolmarm-ish vibe to the look.

It’s nice to see her sport an above-the-knee hem, though.  She tends to default to the more demure tea length, which, when combined with her overwhelmingly twee style choices and at-times frightening hair and makeup, tend to make her seem a lot older than she is. Great shoes too. Basically, this look only works from about mid-thigh down.
