Okay, we gave you two pretty dresses to start your day. Now for something a little more, shall we say, challenging.
Elizabeth Banks attends the premiere of “Love & Mercy” during the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival in a Chloé ensemble paired with a Chloe clutch and pumps.
We feel like the years we spent screaming about more ladypants on the red carpet and more prints on the red carpet are now mocking us somehow.
The thing is, it’s a fun print. But we’re just not loving this trend of print suits. We’d rather the jacket and pants were broken up for separate outfits. Actually, that’s not true. The longer we look at them, we’d rather those pants didn’t exist at all. The big sash and balloony hips don’t say “chic” to us. And we might as well admit we hate the top. In fact, the only thing we really like here is the jacket, which deserves better.
We don’t know, Lizzie. You’ve been taking some risks lately that haven’t paid off that well. Maybe it’s time to regroup and do the LBD thing until inspiration strikes your stylist again.
