Christian Siriano Spring 2015 Collection
Taking his inspiration from the glass sculptures of Sergio Redegalli, Christian Siriano offered up a slightly different take on his aesthetic with his spring 2015 collection. There’s more of a focus here on shape, form, and texture with a much-reduced interest (in comparison to previous collections) in frippery and embellishment. It’s about as stripped-down as he’s ever gotten in his work. Of course, “stripped down” for Christian Siriano still means lots of ruffles and dramatic silhouettes, but there’s still a sense of subdued maturity to the work that’s appealing.
