This is not bad at all. In fact, it’s pretty good, which is a relief, because we have not been in favor of her red carpet choices for this poledance.
Melissa McCarthy attends the premiere of “Tammy” at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, California.
It’s so nice to see her in a dress with a little shape to it, showing off a little skin. Both the skirt hem and the length of the sleeves are working great. Plus the shoes are killer – and she’s rocking the ankle straps. Also: everything from the neck up looks great. Her face is gorgeous.
But – and you knew there was one – leather is an unfortunate choice here; especially when it appears to be some sort of leather jumper over a sheer dress. The effect is very apron-y in a butcher/blacksmith kinda way. Heavy and light-reflecting. A shame, because shape-wise, this is working better than anything we’ve seen her wear in ages.
