We’re here to tell you that even we have moments of celebrity style naivete.

At some point in our blogging careers, we realized that there was a significant segment of the public who didn’t quite get just how phony and planned certain aspects of celebrity life actually are; especially the world of paparazzi street shots. Celebrity-stalking is a real issue and we’d say that when they bitch about their privacy being invaded by the paps, they have a bona fide complaint roughly 50% of the time. But the other 50%, we’re gonna call foul when we see it. There’s way too much obvious coordinating and product placement going on in half the pap pics we see out there.We made it our mission to point these things out as much as possible, hence the focus on jokes like “Yes, we can see the label of the bag, dear” and pretty much the all-time favorite of street-style attention-whoring: The Reese Witherspoon Parking Lot Promenade Tour of 2013/14.

Anyway, our point? We weren’t even sure if we wanted to feature these pics because we assumed that was just some off-the-rack or thrift store sweater she was wearing and weren’t sure if people would be interested. Pft. As if, to quote the Lesser Cher.
