The great thing about Sentimental Value star Renate Reinsve’s red carpet style, from our perspective at least, is that you can never really predict what you’re going to see from her. There’s just one criterion she seems to require across the board: it has to be dramatic. Like so:
Nothing wrong with serving a little body on the red carpet, especially since it’s not a well she returns to often enough for it to seem stale or tired. It’s interesting to compare the somewhat laid back styling here to someone like Teyana Taylor, who could work a dress like this in her sleep but would also come with a full coif and beat to go with it. There’s nothing wrong with a more relaxed, sexy style like this, but we do tend to think it comes off a little casual for the BAFTAs. The necklace works, but we’d have suggested less messy hair and more jewelry. Hair back and a pair of killer diamond chandeliers would do it. But we’re magnanimous, open-hearted sorts, so we’ll let you make the final call on this one. Let’s hear it.
