In the interests of transparency in bitchy blogging, we’re following up that IN or OUT post with another easy style of post; one that doesn’t have an official title, but falls under the vague heading of “Isn’t she pretty, folks?” The White Lotus star Lisa had her Glinda Glam moment at the Emmys in a dress we really should hate, but can’t bring ourselves to.
It’s borderline precious, in a color we’ve said many times needs to be retired from fashion for a decade, and it’s got a bunch of elements (a tricky, asymmetrical skirt and fringe) we have gone on record as absolutely loathing, yet it all looks so dreamy and pretty to us that we just sigh and pay less attention to the questionable parts. The jewelry pieces are stunning. Our only quibble is that the hair seems a little casual for a look with this much impact.
