It’s WEDNESDAY and that calls for a moody, luxe, woodsy kind of LOunge, wouldn’t you say? Surround yourself with greenery and a comforting cocoon of delusion. Cares and woes are for the people outside. In here, it’s all good.

‘Land of the Lost’ Reboot Eyed at Netflix
Legendary Television and producers Sid and Marty Krofft are behind the project based on the 1970s kids’ series.

Netflix is considering a return to the Land of the Lost.
The streamer is in the first stages of development on a reboot of the 1970s series, about a father and his two kids who, after “the greatest earthquake ever known,” according to the show’s theme song, are transported to a world where dinosaurs still exist and other fantastic creatures abound. Legendary Television and Sid and Marty Krofft Productions, which produced the original show, are behind the new project.

Jason Isaacs Might Say Too Much
The White Lotus made him go viral, but the actor has been stirring up trouble onscreen for decades.

It’s 10:00 p.m. in London, but Jason Isaacs is in no hurry to turn in. “I’m horribly jet-lagged,” he says. “I’ve been back and forth to America about 20 times in the last few weeks, and I haven’t ever really settled back into English time. Everyone else in the house is asleep, so take as long as you want.” Two hours later the actor is performing delightful card tricks for me. Thanks to his decades on British TV, Isaacs is a household name in the U.K., where he has at least two dedicated fan clubs of panting middle-aged ladies who show up to his every public appearance. Stateside, he has not been nearly as famous, unless you happen to be a dedicated Harry Potter fan; he played the villain Lucius Malfoy — “the blond with the wand,” Isaacs calls him — in six of the films. Netflix’s beloved but short-lived sci-fi series The OA, in which he played mad scientist Dr. Hunter Aloysius Percy, later earned him new fans on streaming. But at 62, he seems to have landed his big American-TV breakout role as the filicidal, suicidal, pistol- and lorazepam-filching Durham, North Carolina, big shot Timothy Ratliff on the third season of The White Lotus. Art-before-commerce career choices may have prevented him from being among England’s wealthiest acting exports, but Isaacs is one of the most prolific. He has been hiding in plain sight for the past 30 years, playing second fiddle in scenes opposite the likes of Mel Gibson, Brad Pitt, Nicolas Cage, and many, many “fucking awful” people in Hollywood he’s happy to dish about but too canny to name.
‘People Bring That Comparison Up A Lot’: Is Seema Patel Meant To Be A Samantha Jones Substitute In ‘AJLT’?
Sarita Choudhury, who plays Seema Patel, in the Sex and the City sequel never intended for her character to be a Samantha Jones copycat.

There’s a commonly-held belief among members of the Sex and the City fandom that Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker)’s new BFF Seema Patel (Sarita Choudhury) is intended to fill the hole left by Carrie’s former BFF Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall).
Indeed, devoted fans of the show will admit that And Just Like That, the Sex and the City sequel, has a gaping Samantha-shaped hole in it that it would make sense for producers to want to fill. According to Google Trends, despite Samantha’s absence — bar a now-infamous 60-second stint in the sophomore series — searches for the character have surged by 3,950% over the past year alone.

The Style Debrief: Equisite Statement Rings are Making a Comeback
Bold and Playful Design with Mesmerising Gemstones

When they first appeared a century ago, cocktail rings were a symbol of daring and rebellion; a flamboyant means for Jazz Age women to flaunt their independence and their affinity with a speakeasy culture that deliberately challenged the staunch rules of American Prohibition. Today, these glamourous pieces are just as much a statement of joy, power, whimsy and extravagance. The finest modern interpretations often fuse interesting materials, such as titanium and enamel, with precious metals, including diamonds and gemstones, for maximum colour and impact, too – ensuring these glittering jewels are enjoyed as much by their wearer as they are their observers.

Heidi Klum’s coconut milk nails are the dreamiest manicure for summer 2025
Calling all minimalists…

What’s our favourite thing about Heidi Klum? Her pitch-perfect nail designs, of course! She recently wowed us with her colourful mani and pedicure combo. But the model also loves wearing her red stiletto nails or her popular milky glass nails, just like her daughter Leni Klum. For her new campaign with Calzedonia, Heidi Klum tested the on-trend coconut milk nails look. And you have to admire the cool combination of colour and nail shape.

‘Hair Hardware’ is This Summer’s Hottest Way to Accessorise Your Hairstyle
Wave goodbye to scrunchies and bows

Hooray—summer is finally upon us and, with it, the season of weddings, festivals and the chance to have a little fun with our beauty routines. And when it comes to summer hairstyles, there’s one trend that’s about to take your finishing touches to the next level. Enter: hair hardware. While last year saw us obsessed with the oversized scrunchies and intricately-tied bows, 2025’s hair accessories are a lot more structured, metallic and, dare I say it, cool.

Yes, Sports Bras With Pockets *Finally* Exist – 7 Best To Add to Your Workout Wardrobe, Stat
It doesn’t get much more practical than these.

You don’t need me to tell you how essential a good sports bra is. Anyone who requires some support around the chest will be no stranger to the difference a reliable workout bra can make. But what you might not be aware of is how you can make this essential piece of kit even more useful. Of course, I’m talking about sports bras with pockets.
Yes, support, sweat-wicking properties, and a comfortable fit are paramount when it comes to choosing the best sports bra for you, but why should it stop there? A sports bra with pockets not only offers all of these essential qualities, but also solves the problem of a lack of storage options when you’re wearing minimal kit – particularly during the summer months.
There are few things more tedious than not having anywhere to store your keys, phone, gels, or other essentials that you need to take out of the house with you. And if you’re anything like me, you hate having to carry a bulky bag for a sweat session when it really doesn’t seem necessary.

I Swapped My Morning Coffee For a Protein-Rich Breakfast – and My Energy Levels Are, In a Word, Transformed
No more 3 pm slumps here.

There’s some important context here. I’m a classic morning person who gets her best thinking (and moving) done before 10 am, which often means packing in workouts and creative tasks before most people have even hit snooze. I say that with not a hint of boasting. It’s actually incredibly inconvenient, as it makes my mornings regularly feel hectic, with increasingly early alarms, and less and less time for breakfast. Caffeine became my crutch, filling the gap where a meal should have been and giving me the illusion of energy and focus. My second cup would arrive as soon as I hit my desk, and by mid-afternoon, a third, and sometimes fourth, was inevitable.

13 Of The Chicest Summer French Tip Nail Designs To Try Right Now
Elevate this classic manicure style with playful colourways and showstopping finishes.
For your next manicure appointment, do consider a summer French tip nail design. They have the refined elegance of a clean French set, yet make for a great starting point to try new colour combinations, additional nail art and ethereal finishes on top.
Most of the year’s freshest nail trends – from cat-eye and aura nails to pretty shades of pink and baby blue – can be incorporated into your French manicure.
Session manicurist Ami Streets agrees. ‘For the sunny season, the classic French manicure gets a modern refresh with colourful tips in pastels, citrus brights, or soft gradients,’ she tells ELLE UK. ‘Wavy, angled, or double lines playfully replace the traditional tip, while iridescent polishes give a luminous glow that catch the summer light beautifully. Meanwhile, matte, or marbled textures can add edge and interest for those that love a nail art effect.’
Think of the French manicure as the nail version of the little black dress or jeans and tee combo. It can be kept completely minimal and clean or it can look completely maximalist, depending on what you add to it.

Going Broke for Labubu
In the hunt for Pop Mart’s elusive star collectible, some fans are spending thousands of dollars on rare editions and hiked-up resale prices. But what makes this cute and slightly menacing doll so addicting—and how do you get your hands on one? Glamour investigates the hysteria and pitfalls of designer-toy collecting.

Created by Hong Kong artist Kasing Lung in 2015, Labubus—a character from Pop Mart’s Nordic-inspired Monsters Collection—are known for their furry coats, beady eyes, and trademark razor-tooth smiles. Cute and slightly menacing, the dolls have gone from niche collectible to full-blown phenomenon in the past few months, appearing everywhere online and in real life. Unboxing videos on YouTube and TikTok have amassed millions of views, while celebrities like Rihanna, Dua Lipa, and Lisa have been photographed with rare Labubus clipped onto their designer bags. According to a May 2025 report, Pop Mart’s valuation reached an estimated $34 billion, which is more than Hasbro, Mattel, and Sanrio combined.

How to Cook With a Tagine Like You’ve Been Doing It Forever
This pot is so good, they named a dish after it.
Despite its popularity on social media, preparing an entire meal in a single pot, aka, one-pot cooking, isn’t new. Global one-pot cooking traditions—like cassoulet in France, congee from China and Southeast Asia, and Ethiopia’s doro wat—have been passed down through generations, each offering a unique expression of comfort food across cultures.
For chef Ayesha Nurdjaja of the acclaimed Shuka and Shukette (the latter recently landing on the New York Times 100 Best Restaurants list), the magic of tagines began during her travels through Morocco. As she returns this summer to the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, she’s ready to share more cooking secrets — this time with a show-stopping lamb tagine and an array of vibrant sides. Even if you’re not front row in Aspen, you can still take these tagine tips straight to your kitchen.

10 Types of Vinegar Every Kitchen Should Stock
There’s a whole world of vinegar out there. Here are the essential varieties for pickles, pan sauces, and more.

As Samin Nosrat explained in her seminal 2017 cookbook Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat, acid is a fundamental ingredient in any dish.
“Acid brightens food and creates contrast,” she wrote in the book. “Most importantly, acid does the absolutely necessary job of balancing flavors, which makes it indispensable to cooking delicious food.”
One of the most useful and versatile sources of acid is vinegar. But there are many types of vinegar available to home cooks, each with their own flavors and uses. To help choose the right vinegar for everything from pickling to pan sauces, we reached out to Rodrigo Vargas, CEO of American Vinegar Works, a small-batch vinegar producer founded in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Meet Guy Remmers, the Duke of Tintagel: Tatler speaks to the brooding, taciturn British-born star of The Buccaneers
As we celebrate the release of The Buccaneers, revisit the moment he told Dora Davies-Evitt about swimming in Hampstead Heath, lounging in London Fields and what drew him to co-star Kristine Froseth, who plays the irrepressible Nan St George

Forget 5 Hertford Street: Any cool kid on the London scene will tell you that dancing to UK garage at The Pickle Factory is far more on trend. Just ask the floppy-haired, high-cheekboned ‘Duke of Dalston’, Guy Remmers, the east London-based actor who’s on the brink of being everywhere.
Case in point: he once found himself on stage at a gig dancing beside British rapper (and society favourite) Skepta, after having schmoozed his way backstage. ‘I’ve got the gift of the gab,’ he says, his ice-blue eyes full of mischief. ‘I’m good at sneaking into places.’
Gaining access to the most exclusive haunts is child’s play for this 28-year-old Bristolian. After all, he’s broken into the acting industry with barely any official training, taking a lead role in the remake of The Buccaneers as the devastatingly handsome Theo, Duke of Tintagel, ‘England’s most eligible bachelor’. The taciturn, brooding duke, who resides at clifftop Tintagel Castle, will catch your eye the moment he appears on screen, wind ruffling his hair as he gazes out over the sea. Later, he silences everyone in his presence as the guest of honour at a debutante ball.

SZA Gives Chappell Roan the Divine Answer
SZA has a lot on her mind—heartache, power, alienation, desire, revenge, god, water, sex, death, legacy. Across two flawless albums, Ctrl and SOS, the New Jersey native has built one of pop’s most devoted fan bases, casting spells with uncensored songs that cut as deep as the ocean that inspires so much of her work. Before hitting the road with Kendrick Lamar on the Grand National Tour, she got on the line with Chappell Roan, a kindred spirit in search of the method behind her magic.

Meet Superman Star David Corenswet, a Humble Married Dad Who Tells ‘Terrible’ Jokes and Likes DIY Projects
The Philadelphia native, who plays the Man of Steel in summer’s greatest escape, opens up in a PEOPLE cover story

Up, up and away — 20 stories up, to be precise — Superman star David Corenswet sits in a hotel suite overlooking New York City’s Central Park for an interview with PEOPLE.
Outside, the sidewalks buzz with locals and tourists, all of whom have no idea that a superhero looms above them. But even if he were out on the street on this sweltering June afternoon, the dark-haired, 6’4″ Corenswet doubts he’d get hounded for selfies.
“People tell me I look like Superman,” he says with a twinkle in his bright blue eyes, “but don’t realize that I’m playing Superman.”
That’s about to change, well, faster than a speeding bullet. Corenswet, 31, a Philadelphia native, first gained notice for his brief but affecting performance as tragic high school student River on Ryan Murphy’s 2019-20 series The Politician.

How Often to Replace Your Cutting Board, According to Professional Chefs
Yes, cutting boards have an expiration date.

Of all the kitchen essentials in your arsenal, few get as much daily use as your cutting board. It’s where prep begins, charcuterie bits parade, and meals (eventually) become a reality. Truth be told, our cutting boards do a lot of heavy lifting, so at a certain point, they deserve their retirement. “Cutting boards are a staple in every kitchen, but they don’t last forever,” says Food Network’s Chopped champion Julia Chebotar. Even if you wash yours regularly, Chebotar warns, they can harbor bacteria over time, risking your dinner and your health.
But, how often should you replace your cutting board? We turned to professional chefs for the answer.

How Long Does Cake Last? It Depends—Here’s How to Store Every Kind
Knowing how to properly store a cake will keep it fresh for longer and prevent it becoming dry or soggy.

Whether you’re celebrating a birthday, a wedding, or enjoying a casual dessert with friends and family, cake is always on the menu. But how long does cake last, and how should you store it to keep it fresh? Should it be kept at room temperature or in the refrigerator? It’s not a one-size-fits-all answer; the best way to store cake depends on, well, the cake itself. There are so many different types of cake–vanilla layer cake with chocolate frosting is only the beginning. Cakes can be simple and plain, but often they are filled with fruit or whipped cream, pastry cream, or lemon curd, which can complicate matters.
We spoke with a professional pastry chef and a recipe developer to learn about the different types of cake and the best ways to store them, no matter what type of cake and whether they are simply dusted with powdered sugar or stacked with an elaborate filling.

This Is the Best Hiking City in the U.S.—and No, It’s Not Denver or Portland
It’s hard to beat San Francisco when it comes to access to the great outdoors.
Cities aren’t typically considered top destinations for hiking, but the best hikes aren’t necessarily always in the backcountry. In fact, sometimes you can catch the most thrilling views from the densest of urban landscapes, and take in stunning landscapes and cityscapes at the same time. And a new report from the footwear commerce site SportsShoes set out to find out which cities were the best for hikers.
For its report, SportsShoes analyzed hiking trail data from 180 of the most popular tourist cities in the world. It took into account the number of trails in each place, how popular they are, and the average reviews of each trail, using data from AllTrails. After evaluating all the numbers, one U.S. city beat out the domestic competition.
