We gave Scarlett Johansson her own spotlight post because she deserved some time away from the sausage party, but it’s time to round up all of the Jurassic World Rebirth dudes and tell them what we thought of their style attempts for the London premiere.
Bechir Sylvain
The outfit is cute. Why would you ruin it with that weird vest?
David Iacono
Putting aside our extreme dislike of this trend of matching the shirt to the pants to the tie, this just looks incredibly heavy for June and the cross-body bag just looks silly here.
Ed Skrein in Giorgio Armani
That’s entirely too much greige for one white man to handle.
Jonathan Bailey in Prada
We have to figure he’s doing a deliberate take on ’90s menswear styles as some sort of tribute to the franchise’s origins. In other words, we suspect this is Sam Neill cosplay. It doesn’t look bad on him, but it does look a little costumey.
Mahershala Ali in Etro
Well that’s just spectacular. We still don’t like these outfits rendered all in one textile, but at least he sported a contrasting shirt. Again, though: this is all very heavy for this time of year.
Rupert Friend
The fit of the suit is terrible, the shirt cuffs are too long, the tie is sloppy, and all of that peach satin is a terrible idea.
