Emily in Paris star Lily Collins is making the talk show circuit in advance of the series third season premiere. Because of the nature of the show she’s promoting (an utter frivolity and fashion parade) and where she’s promoting it (New York in December), that means two things: high-fashion looks and coat porn. Let’s get a load of what she’s serving, shall we?

The camel coat is quietly gorgeous and that jumpsuit works much better on camera than we would have thought. In some ways, it’s a perfect talk show look, because the weird flounce becomes a non-issue when she sits down. The color looks great on her but she looks cold sitting next to all the other ladies.

She’s a girl who knows upon which side her bread is buttered, so to speak. In other words, when you’re Lily Collins on a promo tour, you’re pretty much obliged to set aside one appearance for the full-blown Audrey drag. She looks great – much better than someone in black netting and lace on television has a right to – but that’s kind of the point. It’s impossible for her to get this look wrong, even when the dress itself is only so-so.

This is easily our favorite look of the lot. It plays to all her strengths without miring her in a lot of retro elements. It feels current, fresh, and very New York in a lot of ways. We didn’t love the strap situation once she took the coat off, but the street look is just gorgeous.
