Trust Heidi Klum to always take advantage of a red carpetless world to do a little Insta-serving. She is, quite literally, the one celebrity whose style choices we’ve been assessing longer than any others and we’re telling you: the lady always seems to sense when there’s a lull in celebrity style coverage and serves up something worth discussing. Today, she wore a really cute Valentino sweater. Can you guess what she did not pair it with? We bet you can!

Pants, of course. It’s such a cute look, though. The fishnets are not only a nice touch, they’re something of a style classic. The sweater-over-fishnets pantless look is a pinup standard going back to World War II. We don’t believe she’s planning on doing anything all that difficult or taxing in this outfit and besides, the sweater itself is interesting enough to stand on its own – almost literally. Practicality be damned. We think she looks great and we doubt she’s riding the subway or doing her grocery shopping in it. Let the woman go pantsless, we say. We’re in a pandemic, for God’s sake. Who’s got the time for pants anymore?
