Miss Beanie’s riding that career high we love to see around these parts, mainly because celebrity career highs usually go hand-in-hand with celebrities stepping up their fashion game. She’s got her highly buzzed turn as Monica Lewinsky in Impeachment: American Crime Story (our review) happening right not and next year she’ll be stepping into Barbra Streisand’s heels to play Fanny Brice in Funny Girl on Broadway. It’s a time for glowing and our girl’s got it.
We (mostly) love the dress and (mostly) love the styling here. The color and shape of the dress look great on her and onscreen. She pops and she doesn’t look uncomfortable in any way. But those boob flaps… we just cannot sign off on that design element. As for our styling quibble, we love all the jewelry, especially the earrings, but danglies don’t coordinate well with a collar that high. Still, she looks really cute and we kind of love her style. If we could name it, we’d call it “Girly Boldness.”
