Hunh. This is a collection of discussable elements, darlings. Yes, that’s kind of an awful way to initially describe an outfit. In its defense, we think any ensemble worth discussing – good or bad – got at least one part of the fashion right if it forces you to consider it. To that end…
As we said: Hunh.
We don’t mind the springtime palette because the sparkly skirt looks great and feels right. But we’re not at all sure it’s working with that sweater and we really don’t like the waist detail, which appears to be part of the skirt, based on the runway shot. We tend to think an aubergine or midnight blue sweater would’ve completed this perfectly, but we don’t want to be all essentialist about midwinter style. You tell us: is this working for you as-is or do you think it needs some work? In other words, put in more binary terminology:
