Paradise star Shailene Woodley is out making the promo rounds and she attended a SAG-AFTRA “conversation” event in New York wearing an outfit we’d never have predicted she’d pick.

It’s so dreary and businesslike. We never thought we’d say this, but we miss her hippie-dippie style days. It’s actually not a bad suit at all. The textile looks quite rich and luxe. But the jacket is too boxy and the styling here is so lazy. She should wear the jacket open with some sort of sassy top that’ll liven the look up, do something with the hair (we look forward to the day when hairstylists to the stars rediscover the benefits of the daytime ponytail), and put on a less depressing pair of shoes. Something with a little color and sparkle down there would go a long way.
