We are deeply impressed by the design of Amanda Seyfried’s dress — not in an admiring way, but in a “How did such a tiny frock manage to piss us off so much?” The star of The Testament of Ann Lee stopped by Late Night in the latest iteration of her Puritan Chic promo mode:
To be fair, we’re not literally mad at this dress, but we are annoyed by the clumsy, heavy-looking bows (seriously, that trim does not take well to tying) and that awful feather fringe hem. We realize it would be little more than a fancy t-shirt if you took those things away, but there are better, less awkward ways of dressing up a LBD. In related news, she could’ve used some tights here.
