You could say that Hedda star Tessa Thompson showed two sides of herself on Golden Globes night, but that’s just a fancier way of saying she wore one outfit we loved and another one we hated.
In Balenciaga Couture at the Golden Globes
A simple, high-impact gown in a gorgeous color you don’t see a lot on the red carpet. It’s not near the top of the list, but it definitely rates as one of our favorite looks of the night. We felt like the styling wasn’t quite where it needed to be. We’d have liked the hair up and a few more pieces of jewelry. Still, she looks gorgeous here. For the after party, she decided to go in a completely different direction.

And yeah, we hate it. We don’t mind the bodice, but the skirt is awful and the shoes take the whole look to ridiculous.
