Our first impulse upon viewing the pictures of Wake Up Dead Man star Kerry Washington strolling into the Today show studios was to blurt out “Lady, you’re doing way too much!” After all, who sports leather opera gloves first thing in the morning?

But you know what? Nevermind. While we still don’t like the wrinkled dress trend and we maintain that opera gloves are strictly for evening wear, we can’t deny that she looks pretty spectacular here. While it’s all just a little too matchy for our preferences, we have to admit, the shoes and the bag are both gorgeous. The colors really work for her and it’s giving holiday style without being cliched about it.
