The stars shrugged about human rights and jetted off to Saudi Arabia once again for the Red Sea International Film Festival, where they dressed up in pretty clothes — or not so pretty ones, as the case may be. Let’s judge the shit out of them, shall we?

Adrien Brody and Georgina Chapman (in Marchesa)

He looks acceptable. We’re not super-crazy about tiered gowns, but that silver lace is pretty.

Ana de Armas in Jenny Packham

Meh. It gets the job done, but what a dull choice.

Dakota Johnson in Chloé

She has a wry quality that allows her to get away with wearing some incredibly goofy things, but not even she can make this horror show work.

Daniel Kaluuya

Acceptable, but just barely.

Juliette Binoche in Gucci

She looks like an oil slick.

Kirsten Dunst in Valentino

We kind of love how the dance coach top transitions into an unexpectedly formal skirt. It really suits her, but we think it needed a thin metallic belt. The shoes are gorgeous.

Naomie Harris

Basic gown, messy hair.

Natasha Lyonne in Dolce & Gabbana

The posing is getting weirder. The dress is great, though.

Queen Latifah

We’ve seen a lot of goofy trains tacked onto outfits that didn’t call for them, but this may be the goofiest of all.

Rita Ora in Elie Saab

Insanely overdesigned dress. Get rid of the cuffs, the bow, and the choker and it might work.

Uma Thurman in Ralph Lauren

Very chic. The earrings are gorgeous. The shoe color isn’t wrong, but we think we’d have put her in white pumps.
