BREAKING NEWS: Queen Max gets one right! Mostly. The Queen came to the Christmas Music Gala in Breda sporting a festive look that avoids holiday cliche and we’re pleased to announce that we have only one quibble. Guess it. And no, it’s not the big honkin’ flower.
It’s the matching pants. Or rather, it’s the slightly-but-not-quite matching pants, which is why we don’t think you should attempt to match colors when you have a matte and shiny fabric in the mix. Besides, simple black pants would have looked more chic to our eyes. Given that every accessory AND her eyeshadow also matches the blue, she could have definitely used a little contrast. But as Matchy Max ensembles go, this is definitely one of the better ones. The top is really fun and looks great in pictures. The hair is under control, which we consider a win.
