Brace yourselves, darlings! While it might look at first glance that Zoe Saldana’s dress for the Avatar: Fire and Ash premiere in China is just another of those long line bra frocks that we’re all tired of, but we feel like this particular choice is so much more than you might be expecting.

Surprise! It’s way goofier than you thought! Now, when Diane Kruger wore a similar dress from the same collection, a lot of you seemed to like it, which surprised us at the time. We want to see if that affection extends to this version. The embroidery lends it quite a bit of interest (although it looks AI text rendering) and we appreciate that this is a white lace gown that is neither bridal in tone nor see-through. But that shape is a tough one to pull off and those hanging straps remain horrible. Dealbreakers? You make the call, but we do like that she’s getting a bit more adventurous with her style lately.
