We’re cleaning out some of our folders from last week and we wondered if we should just let Oh. What. Fun. star Chloe Grace Moretz’s look for The Today Show last week go, since the film debuted to terrible reviews over the weekend. But we’re afraid her skirt situation is too weird not to take a look.
She’s always had a somewhat awkward and off-beat promo style so we can’t say we’re surprised here, but we can’t help noting how every piece does nothing for every other piece. That jacket and skirt? No joy. That skirt with black tights? No sense. We tend to hate tulip skirts and this is an especially weird one with it’s odd little tabs, but the problem here is that the color is dreary and the black tights don’t dress it up so much as make it recede visually. She really needs a jewel-toned sweater and maybe some boots to pull this together.
