Kudos to Sydney Sweeney’s publicist, because this girl has been out all day, every day, talking to and posing for anyone who’s willing to give her the time. Of course her new film Christy is the reason why, but we get the impression that this push is especially aggressive because of her ability to generate backlash lately. For her visit to the Late Show, she stuck to the Good Girl style she’s been trying lately, with mixed results.
IN MAGDA BUTRYM

Cute and perfectly unobjectionable. The boob flap seems a little awkwardly executed, but it provides the only visual interest that keeps this from being completely generic. Those shades don’t suit her face shape at all.
IN PATOU

Girl, whut? This is so bizarre. The suit isn’t terrible, but we don’t understand why you’d choose to pair a brown skirt and coat with shiny black accessories. Black and brown is a tricky combo to begin with, but when one is matte and the other is shiny, it makes it even harder to pull the look together. We’d have recommended staying with earth tones and switching out the black pieces for various shades of beige, brown or oxblood. The belt looks especially awful.
