The Stranger Things Not-Kids dragged themselves to yet another premiere for Season 5 and we don’t care how many sound bites they give about how much they’re going to miss this, you can tell every one of them can’t wait to put it in their rearview mirrors for good.
Noah Schnapp (in Burberry) and Millie Bobby Brown (in Ashi Studio)

A trench coat is just about the easiest garment to wear, because it’s actually designed to be a little sloppy, so it takes some real effort to fuck it up. His outfit is pretty cute, but the way he’s wearing that coat just looks dumb. Buttons exist for a reason, kid.

This is so tired. Like virtually all of her style choices, it makes her look like she’s a quarter century older than she is. She’s got bad style instincts and she’s receiving terrible advice. She really needs to overhaul her whole team, especially since she claims that the reaction to her style choices on her last promo tour had her in tears. Girl, it’s not that hard. Pay someone to make you look young and hot, which you are.
Caleb McLaughlin

We tend not to like this level of Sgt. Pepper/Michael Jackson military cosplay because he just looks like he should be in a marching band, but we can’t get mad at him for bringing some energy to this dreary campaign.
Charlie Heaton

Thanks for agreeing to chaperone, Uncle Charlie.
Finn Wolfhard

We’re not mad at it. We can tell we’re going to get annoyed with the pinstripe trend sooner rather than later, because like all red carpet trends, it erupts suddenly and then everybody wears it at the same time, for weeks on end. This is like the tenth pinstripe we’ve seen this month and that probably equals the number of them we’ve seen in the previous five years.
Gaten Matarazzo

It’s cute, but it feels a little stale.
Jamie Campbell Bower

We’ll give him credit for flying his freak flag throughout this tour and usually winding up in the best look on the red carpet, but this one’s not working for us. The coat is overwhelming and those white straps are stupid.
Joe Keery

Why is everyone in this young cast dressing like they’re middle aged? This is awful.
Natalia Dyer

It’s a pretty gown, but we hate the fuzzy trim and the non-color washes her out.
Priah Ferguson

Meh. It’s fine, but like her co-star’s style, it reads as too old for her. Those little sleevelets are awful.
Sadie Sink in Prada

The hair and makeup are gorgeous and we like the dress, but that is an absolute hell-no color for her and that’s something she needs to learn quickly as a redhead. It’s off the table, girl.
ABOUT THE SERIES:
A love letter to the ‘80s classic genre films that captivated a generation, Stranger Things is a thrilling drama set in the seemingly normal Midwestern town of Hawkins, Indiana. After a boy vanishes into thin air, his close-knit group of friends and family search for answers and are pulled into a high-stakes and deadly series of events. Beneath the surface of their ordinary town lurks an extraordinary supernatural mystery, along with top-secret government experiments and a dangerous gateway that connects our world to a powerful yet sinister realm. Friendships will be tested and lives will be altered as what they discover will change Hawkins and possibly the world — forever.
Created by the Duffer Brothers, Stranger Things debuted in July 2016 and quickly became one of Netflix’s most popular television series ever with its fourth season alone amassing over 140.7 Million views globally. The series has also garnered over 70 awards worldwide including Emmys® and the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series, and has been nominated for over 230 awards.
This year, it returns with its eagerly awaited fifth and final season, offering fans various ways to engage with the cultural phenomenon year-round, including: the award-winning and Tony-nominated stage play: Stranger Things: The First Shadow made its Broadway debut this April; an animated series will take fans back to Hawkins in 2026; a collection of books; the touring Stranger Things Experience which expands to Brazil and Australia this year; and a global assortment of lifestyle products and brand collaborations. Fans also celebrate November 6 – the day Will Byers went missing – as ‘Stranger Things Day,’ a special day to share their love for the world of Stranger Things.
