Heidi Klum wore a pretty great dress to the Bambi Awards last week, but we weren’t so foolish as to predict that she was embarking on a new, classier sort of style journey. No, your girl came to the Glamour Women of the Year Awards in Berlin having fully reverted to form. You might want to brace yourself for the scrolldown. We’ve been documenting her love of the tight, short and shiny for almost two decades now…

… and even we were a little shocked by this one. It’s short and it’s shiny and we have no problem with that at all, but her love of tight clothes is not serving her well here. She looks stuffed into this one and it looks like she’s wearing the coat to provide herself with a little coverage. Better to just go up a size. We’d never suggest that she rethink her style or tone herself down because she’s getting older, but we do think this kind of hottie style has to have an effortlessness to it for it to work. If there’s any visible struggle involved, the vibe is killed. It’s kind of why Kim Kardashian, for all of her popularity and her massive social media following, has never really been considered a sex symbol. If it looks too painful for you to move it, it’s not sexy.
