We’ve done a lot of style opinionating so far today and there’s more in the pipeline, but we’re tossing this one over to you for final judgment so we can recharge our bitch batteries. Amanda Seyfried has always had a “get it done” approach to her style. It’s not that she doesn’t care about fashion or doesn’t have style preferences, but you can tell she doesn’t feel the need to make serving a look a priority for her. Which is fine, but we tend to think people like that should stick to classic, simple styles instead of trying to be cute with their choices. You might think that’s what she’s done here…
… but you would be wrong. A twist suddenly appears! We don’t mind the white parts, but the unfinished edges are rage-inducing. Ultimately, it’s a very basic dress with a twist that the design can’t support. That’s how we see it, but as we said, the final call is up to y’all.

ABOUT THE MOVIE:
As the founder of the Shaker movement, Ann Lee (Amanda Seyfried) was one of America’s most influential religious figures. Mona Fastvold’s captivating feature film tells the story of Lee’s past, which had a profound influence on her views on women. Featuring an exhilarating soundtrack by Oscar-winning composer Daniel Blumberg of THE BRUTALIST fame, THE TESTAMENT OF ANN LEE makes for an immersive musical film experience. With a mix of songs and artistic dances, it creates a compelling narrative about the transformative energy of the body and the voice.
