And now, a new feature we’re going to call Your Daily Black Lace Dress. There have been so damn many of them lately that we may as well just make it official. The Testament of Ann Lee star is the latest purveyor of YDBLD, sporting one at the SCAD Savannah Film Festival. Prepare to be disappointed.
She had us in the top half. The neckline is very pretty, even if it is very “lingerie” in style. It’s the skirt that really lets the look down. While we can understand why she might not have wanted to sport the micro-mini version in the look book, these awkward lace chevron panels are unflattering. Just a plain black skirt would have been preferable.
